Covid Requirements

Sonoma State University has different requirements for Covid than our high school. All Jazz Band performers will need to submit a picture of their Covid vaccination card or a negative Covid test to us ahead of time for all events at Sonoma State University. Students will need to complete the Google Form by Monday, January 10, so that Janis can follow up with individuals. Please contact Mr. Jones or Janis asap if there are any issues or questions.

  • Mr. Jones must submit an attestation form stating that he has seen the students’ vaccination cards or a current negative COVID test within 72 hours of the festival.

  • Participating students and directors will be issued a wristband that allows them entry - it should be worn throughout the event.

  • Chaperones, visiting family members, and other audience members must provide proof of vaccination or a current negative COVID test in order to be admitted to the event. The GMC staff follows strict adherence to this protocol, so make sure you let any potential audience members from your school community know about this protocol.

  • Everyone, including directors and performers, must wear a face masks while indoors at all times, including during the warm up, performance and clinic sessions.

Here is some more specific information about entry into Weill Hall:
